Our mission: Equipping and Encouraging Women with the Word of God
EquippedMama fully committed to being a Christ-centered resource for all mothers. Find out more about our name, team, and beliefs below.
As a Christ-centered organization, we place unqualified confidence in the authority of Scripture, and we firmly believe in the need of all people to reach reconciliation with God through his Son, Jesus Christ’s work on the cross (Romans 3:23, John 3:16). We believe that the only way that can happen is by each person understanding their need to be saved from their sins (Romans 5:8). In recognizing their need, they then can believe in the fact that Jesus Christ came to earth, lived a perfect life, died as a substitute for our sins, and was raised from the dead (Romans 10:9-10). With their confession of their need for a Savior and belief in Christ as the only substitute for their spiritual need, they are saved. From this context of salvation we orient our entire lives.
Being a resource for all mothers means that we desire to serve people from any walk of life. As we have a Christian worldview, we do have absolute ideas and beliefs about how God has designed motherhood and what His ideal is for this season. Whoever you are, we welcome you and are glad you decided to learn more about us. We hope to serve you and extend to you the love of Christ.
Our Name
EquippedMama is a name derived from 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
It is the prayer of this ministry that Mamas who access these resources and engage in our discussions find themselves equipped, not by us, but by the very Word of God. Our focus is to build you in your mothering journey, but not simply through affirmation or offering opportunities for self-help. We want to point you to the Source of wisdom and strength. We want to point you to the Lord.

Jaci Newell- Board member
I live in the Dallas suburbs with my husband, Jordan, our three children, and Weller, our loyal hunting dog. As a stay-at-home mom, I spend my days nurturing our home—shepherding little hearts, baking sourdough, preparing meals to gather friends and family around our table, and creating a space that feels warm and welcoming. In the quieter moments, I love brewing a fresh espresso and diving into thoughtful theological conversations.
Our Statement of Faith
The Bible
We believe the 66 books of the Bible are the inspired, authoritative, Word of God. We believe the Holy Spirit inspired the writing of these Scriptures and that the canon of Scripture is closed. We believe the Bible not only contains God’s Word but is God’s Word, and is the complete authority for belief and behavior. (2 Peter 1:21, 1 Corinthians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16, John 17:17)
The Trinity
We believe that there is only One living and true God, who is the creator of all life. He exists in three distinct persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe these members of the Trinity are the same in substance but work in distinct, but unified function. (Mark 12:29, John 1:1-3, 1 John 5:6-8)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ has existed from eternity past and is the Son of God who became man in order to reveal God and redeem man. We believe in his virgin birth, the reality of His miracles, the reality of His sinless life, substitutionary death, and literal bodily resurrection. We believe he currently intercedes for believers and will one day come again for His church. (John 1:18, 8:58, Matt. 1:23, Mark 16:6-7, Col. 1:15-17, 1 Tim. 1:15, 3:16).
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, equal with God the Father and God the Son. He is active in the life of the believer, drawing the believer into maturity in Christ, through teaching, guiding and convicting. (John 16:7-11, Ephesians 3:20, Romans 8:14-16)
Doctrine
We hold to the basic doctrines of Historical Christianity as outlined in Scripture, namely:
- The Tri-unity of God
- The creation and fall of all mankind. (Romans 5:12)
- The Reality of a literal Heaven and literal Hell. (Luke 12:5, 13:28)
- The Deity and Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ
- The Believer’s future hope of bodily resurrection at the Final Judgement (Revelation 20:11-13)
- Substitutionary Atonement. (1 Peter 3:18).
- The bodily resurrection and ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ and His imminent return.
- The spiritual regeneration of the believer. (Ephesians 4:22-24).
Teaching
We believe within the context of the local church women are not authorized to exercise authority over men, and are not Scripturally recognized to serve as pastors over men. Women do, however, have a responsibility to teach and train other women to grow in godliness. (1 Corinthians 14:34-35, Titus 2:3-5)
